Geez, these country cross over acts just keep coming! Ok, this one isn’t for real but seriously….country music is the place to be. Actor Jeremy Piven of HBO’s hit show “Entourage” was in Nashville last night for the CMT red carpet premiere of his new film, The Goods: Live Hard. Sell Hard. After the movie premiere he hit Broadway for some serious honky-tonking at the famed Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge where he partied with a Music City “entourage” that included country duo Halfway to Hazard and Jaron Lowenstein of Evan and Jaron.
Jeremy even got on stage with Halfway to Hazard and Lowenstein and sat in on drums for a set of crowd-pleasing music that included classic covers such as ZZ Top’s “Tush,” Stevie Wonder’s “Superstition,” and The Eagles’ “Take It Easy,” among others. He then enjoyed the famous front booth with co-star Ed Helm and entourage and threw back shots and sipped on Grey Goose and soda.
