I wonder if they spied us . . .

Surely NOT!

Well. . . maybe Chaddy DID spy him some Daisy Shakes....  But David was completely oblivious to us. . .

They spied us pretty dang quick . . . I believe Master Brandon was sacrificed by the band as 'look-out'. We weren't REAL hard to find . . . we were the ones whoopin', hollarin', and making all kinna noise for our boys! They really sounded GREAT, and it was just a bummer that they were on first because so many peeps were still just getting there, and looking for a spot to call their own for the day. But hey . . . they DID make the Main Stage, so that right there is pure goodness!!!

Okay, so after the boys' set they were scheduled for a Meet & Greet at the Border's tent. We got in line and waited our turn to MEET them delicious Kentucky cuties. Several people came and asked us about the Fan Club and shirts and stuff, so I was givin' out the 4-1-1 all over the place. (Jen?  Vicki? Tina? NIC? How did they know who we were since we hadn't even gotten to the front of the line yet? That just occurred to me. ..  ) The line was so long that Miss Daisy Shakes was startin' to complain about waiting. . . but she managed just fine once Travis swaggered out our way for a bit of a hello. Now, I know his head may LOOK kinna litta bit nappy . . . but I am here to tell you that stuff is SOFT! I asked very politely . . . well, actually I STARTED to ask very politely. . . if I could touch his hair. I got as far as "Okay, I have to ask, and please don't be offended. ..  " he said "You wanna touch my hair." and he leaned right over for me. He was just so dayum sweet!!! But then I felt BAD cause CLEARLY he must be tired of peeps askin to touch his hair.

My step-daughter, Megan, and her mom happened by while we were in line. She just gets prettier every time I see her. . . which to be honest has never been enough. I'll have a few photos of her later. . .

 I was first to get to the boys and I walked in front of David, lowered my head, batted my eyelashes and said "OMG! Can I have your autograph??????"  He's all "SHUT UP! Go stand over there; we'll get to you guys when we're done!"  I put on my best pouty face and said 'But I want your autograph!!!" 

He stuck his tongue out at me and said "NEXT!" to the rest of the line...

We did as we were told and stood next to the tent (which Security didn't love all that much!). They finally had to cut off the line because there was another artist there for their turn. We got our turn ... NATURALLY this one was first! See how she WHIPPED right in there???

LOL! She did get her love'n from the boys though  . . .

Yep. She's an OAK!!!

David decided to play 'bratty little brother' and was buggin' Jen... Poor sweetness had to hang onto Chaddy for dear life!!!

Comes now Nicole's turn at molesting the Kentuckians . . . But LOOK at sweetie Travis to the right there! Can you believe that stuff is SOFT???  It ISSSSSS!!! I promise you!!!

But alas, the boys had bidness to tend to, so they had to cut and run. We went back to our spot and just relaxed for the rest of the afternoon . . . just waitin' on the HAT! OYE, TIM McGRAW WAS ON THE GROUND. . . I could just FEEL it in me bones!!!  So, here are a few pics of us hanging around . . . in no particular order...

Vicki did as she was told and made nice with Security. This guy was I think a teacher in real life. Really nice guy! He took excellent care of us!

A litta bit later, the boys came out to visit with us a little bit. Peeps spied them and all ran over to where we were asking for autographs and photos and stuff. They were all "You KNOW them?" and we were like 'No, we've never seen them before in our lives!"  Now right HERE is a shocker!!

So the boys popped out to say hello at various times during the evening, and I was getting more and more anxious for some. . .

And all kinna more of that stuff! GAWD I couldn't see or hear AnyTHANG around me. . . It was tunnel vision and ALL about the hat! OMG!!! It was ALLLLL about the hat!!!

Alas, our evening was over, and it was time to head back to the hotel. NATURALLY we decided we are starving, so rather than return to the hotel directly, we are on the hunt for ANYTHING open. I think it was Jack in the Box they finally found, so we drove through and loaded up on grease, grease and sodas. The PERFECT ending to a fabulous weekend. We went back to the hotel and took our grease down by the pool, took off our shoes and put our feeties in the water and just yaked for hours! It was so much fun . . . just being silly girls with no responsibilities, no time limits. . . nothing!  I think we finally made it back to the room at like . . . what; 4:00???

Annnnnnnnnnnd that's about it. The rest of the girls can fill in the blanks. I have carporal tunnel that I'm gonna go slice off.
